Under the guidance of Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mewar University, students studying in B.Tech. and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering were taken to the Monomark Engineering Pvt. Ltd. facility in Chittorgarh for an industrial visit. The purpose of an industrial visit is to provide students insight into how businesses operate inside. Aiming to go beyond the classroom, an industrial visit gives students a realistic view of the working world. CEO of Monomark Engineering Mr. Sandeep Hingne provides insight into how businesses operate inside. Additionally, he inspired the students by discussing the many corporate opportunities that are already available and that will be opening up in India and internationally. Students then took the Safety Pledge and learnt about industrial safety.
During the visit, several machines and the manufacturing process were discussed. Along with the students, the mechanical engineering department’s Javed Akhtar and technical assistant Bahadur Singh Rathore were present.
During this industrial visit, the Mewar University Management worked with Mr. DK Sharma, Dean of Academics, Dr. R Raja, Dean of Engineering, Mr. Kapil Nahar, Deputy Dean of Engineering, Mr. Harish Gurnani, Director of Training and Placement, and all staff members of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
