There’s a wide gap between what academic institutions are providing and what industries need in terms of professional manpower. Most of the students coming out of academic institutions are not industry oriented and hence, remain unemployable. Mewar University has taken a unique initiative for the gainful employment of its students through a synergy between academia and industry and aims to offer them best training and adequate industrial explore, which equips then with the required practical experience, enabling them to get better placement opportunity.

Training and Placement Module

Mewar University has faculties covering Engineering, Management, Agriculture, Pharmacy and various other Technical and Professional courses, along with conventional courses. Our endeavor is not only to educate the students to earn degree but also extend employment opportunities through our rigorous training and internship program. this specifically designed module address training and internship separately, wherein the training of our student happen at specific training center our repute like Indo jerman tool rooms (IGTR), Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), Advanced Training Institute(ATI), National Academy of Construction(NAC), Central Tool Room (CTR), INDO DANISH TOOL ROOM (IDTR),Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research(IISR), State Forest Research Institute(SFRI),ICAR/CISH, ICAR/IISS etc… to name a few.

The last semester internship happens on specific theme based on students respective branch/ specialization and prevalent practices, in various industries located across the country.This internship module on one side helps the students to acquire practical hands on experience before completing the degree and on the other side it help the organizations in their search for getting ideal manpower. As the students in early months learn and later start performing.Based on their performance, commitment and willingness, the students gets placement opportunity within same organizations.

We are working in direction to develop the leaders in their respective trades, who can make themselves stand in today’s environment of high-rise competition. Enhancement programmes have been deviced to provide the students with better skill set and employable learning.
