- Dress Code Compliance
All students were expected to be in uniform. However, 53 students adhered to the uniform policy, while 2 students were without id card. They were advised to ensure proper dress code and id card compliance in future industrial visits.
- Punctuality
The scheduled departure time from Mewar University was 8:15 AM, and the group departed on time. However, there was a slight delay in arrival due to traffic conditions, reaching ARCGATE at 11:10 AM instead of the planned 11:00 AM. The company representatives were informed in advance.
- Overview of the Visit
Upon arrival at ARCGATE, the students and faculty members were warmly welcomed by Mr. Manish Joshi. A brief introduction to the company was provided, outlining its core services and expertise in the IT industry.
Key Learnings and Activities:
- Company Overview: ARCGATE is a leading IT solutions provider catering to US-based clients. It specializes in data collection, data interpretation, and data handling.
- Technology Stack: The Company actively works with Python, Java, ASP, .NET, and Android development.
- Hiring Criteria: Any graduate with strong communication skills and proficiency in computer and internet usage is eligible to apply for opportunities at ARCGATE.
- Functional Process: Students observed various departments, including data processing, development, and quality assurance, gaining insights into how client projects are handled efficiently.
- Interactive Session: Mr. Manish Joshi, along with Mr. Anant Sharma (Team Leader), conducted an engaging session where they explained ARCGATE’s vision, work culture, and career opportunities in the IT sector.

- Refreshments & Closing
Before the session, students and faculty members were provided with refreshments. Following this, they were given a final tour of ARCGATE’s various departments to observe professionals working in real-time.
- Recreational Stop
On the way back to the university, the group took a short stop at Udaisagar lake, Udaipur, where students spent some relaxing and enjoyable time before heading back.
Conclusion
The industrial visit to ARCGATE was an enriching experience for students, providing them with practical insights into the IT industry and enhancing their understanding of software development, data processing, and corporate work culture. The interactive session was highly beneficial, and students gained valuable knowledge about career opportunities in the IT field.
