Industrial Visit Report – Choyal Industry, Ajmer

On March 26, 2025, the first-year B.Tech students from Mewar University, under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, embarked on an industrial visit to Choyal Industry, a leading manufacturer of milling machines in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to modern manufacturing processes and bridge the gap between theoretical learning and industrial applications. The trip was coordinated by Mr. Paras Kumar, Assistant Professor from the Department of Civil Engineering, and Ms. Sweta kumari Mishra, Assistant Professor from the Department of English.

Upon arrival at Choyal Industry, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Aniruddha Sharma, the Project Manager, who provided a brief introduction to the company’s history, innovations, and contributions to the milling industry. The visit commenced with a guided tour of the facility, where students observed various stages of manufacturing, including design, fabrication, assembly, quality control, and final product testing. The company employs advanced CNC machines, automation technologies, and strict quality control measures to ensure precision and efficiency in milling machine production.

During the tour, how automation plays a crucial role in modern manufacturing. They witnessed real-time processes such as metal cutting, welding, and product assembly, understanding the importance of engineering precision in industrial production.
